The main difference between an ACP stripping machine and an aluminum plastic separation machine lies in how the waste is processed. An ACP stripping machine separates the aluminum skins from composite panels, while an aluminum plastic separation machine typically processes crushed or shredded material to recover aluminum and non-metallic fractions.

An ACP stripping machine is designed for relatively intact aluminum composite panels and production offcuts. It uses controlled heating to soften the bonding layer, followed by mechanical peeling to separate the aluminum skins from the core. This approach can preserve larger pieces of aluminum and reduce the need for extensive size reduction.

An aluminum plastic crushing and separation machine, on the other hand, is generally used for mixed or size-reduced aluminum-plastic waste. Depending on the material, the process may include shredding, crushing, grinding, and physical separation. It is more suitable for damaged panels, irregular scrap, and composite materials that cannot be efficiently processed through direct stripping.

The choice also depends on the panel structure. Standard ACP often contains a polyethylene (PE) core, while fire-resistant panels may contain mineral-filled materials. Core composition, coatings, and contamination can affect separation performance and determine whether thermal stripping or mechanical processing is more appropriate.

In general, an ACP stripping machine is suitable for intact panels and offcuts, while an aluminum plastic separation machine is better suited to crushed, mixed, or irregular feedstock. Selecting the right equipment depends on the condition and composition of the waste, as well as the required quality of the recovered materials.
