The process uses shredding, grinding, and multi-stage physical separation to recover aluminum and plastic from blister packs. Key stages include knife shredding, water-cooled grinding, rotary screening, and electrostatic separation for high purity. The line is enclosed with dust collection, PLC control, and automated airflow for safe, dust-free operation. A pre-shredder can be added for larger volumes.

PVC has a low melting point, and uncontrolled friction heat can cause plastic smearing onto aluminum, reducing separation efficiency and contaminating downstream products. Our water-cooled grinding technology precisely controls process temperature, preventing PVC melting, protecting the electrostatic separator, and maintaining aluminum purity above 99%. This level of quality meets current industry standards for secondary aluminum, which commands premium pricing due to its up to 95% lower carbon footprint compared with primary aluminum.
In blister recycling, aluminum drives profit while plastic drives volume. High-purity aluminum powder is in strong demand for remelting and industrial reuse, while clean PVC fractions can be sold into approved recycling or compounding channels.
